Judy Lee Baum Denison

Funeral services for Judy Lee Baum Denison, age 66, of Grayson, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Banks Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Riley, Bro. Carl Gulde, and Bro. Bobby White officiating. Chris Bennett will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Judy was born April 9, 1947 to Orbin and Eva Windham Baum in Jena and she passed from this life on May 30, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a member of Banks Springs Baptist Church where she served as church secretary and was a Sunday School teacher. She taught school in LaSalle and Caldwell Parish for over 20 years. She loved reading and working crossword puzzles. She was a big fan of the PBR and Louisiana Tech Football. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 42 years: James Denison of Grayson; daughter: Jana Bennett and her husband Chris of Grayson; sister-in-law: Rachel Denison; grandchild who was her little Angel: Leslee Bennett; her little man: Cooper Denison; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Johnny Rosier, Rodney Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Carl Peavy, Donnie Peavy, Ron Payton, Jeff Denison, and Heath Denison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Carroll Bates, Michael Joe Bates, Jerry Meredith, and Randy Hatten. Memorials may be made to the Gideons International of Columbia.
