Services for Mr. Wren McGehee Causey, Jr., age 67 of Merryville will be 2 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Ronnie Cosby officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Mr. Causey was born on January 14, 1942 in Beauregard Parish to the union of Wren McGehee and Edith Carroll Causey and passed from this life on Saturday, February 28, 2009 in Merryville. Wren was a 1960 graduate of Columbia High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother; Joseph David Causey, maternal grandparents; Benjamin Hawkins and Alice VanBrook Carroll and paternal grandparents; Robert Daniel and Sadie Nunnery Causey. Survivors include his brother; Robin Causey and wife, KaraLe of Monroe, three sisters; Emily Faye McCarty of Columbia, Sarah Jane Wright and husband, Jack of Shreveport and Elizabeth Carroll Douglas and husband, Benny of Grayson, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was greatly loved by many friends. Pallbearers will be Billy Dunn, James Crawley, Carl McDaniel, Jerry Mobley, Raffe Carroll, Bobby Durham, Hill Clinton Durham and John Durham.
