UPDATED INFORMATION SERVICE CHANGED DUE TO WEATHER Service day and time will be announced at a later date Mike was born on October 30, 1950 in Columbia, La to the union of his parents Hollie and Marie Parker May, and he passed from this life on December 10, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas following an extended illness. Mike graduated from Caldwell Parish High School in 1968. He served in the United States Army, and retired from his career of forty plus years with "The Facts" Newspaper in Freeport, Texas. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Jack, Buster, Pete and Buzzie May and his sister: Catherine Kersten. Survivors include his sister Marie Tyler and his brother James "Red" May, sisters in law: Glenda May and Lora Anne May, brothers in law: Joe Tyler and Edward Kersten, special niece and caregiver Janice Brown; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
