Johnny Ray Acosta Sr. – Born September 25th, 1947, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was a great man, husband, and father. He was hardworking and very determined, if he set his mind to it, he did it. He was a terrific mentor and friend to many. He was very reliable, if he said he was going to do it, you could count on it. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman and loved hunting and fishing all his life. He loved him some Trump and the United States of America. He was honest and straight forward, if you didn’t want to know how he felt, don’t ask him. But most of the time you didn’t have to ask, he told you anyway. If he wanted something and didn’t have it, he bought it, him and Windy was on a first name basis with UPS drivers. He loved to entertain everyone and was a fantastic cook. He was one of the best welders most have known, if it could be welded, he could weld it anywhere anytime. He worked hard and played harder and lived life to its fullest. He will truly be missed, but he will always live in our heart.

The family will be having a private memorial in Johnny’s memory.
