Graveside services for Johnnie Odell "Dell" Tarver Busby, age 88 of Clarks, LA, will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating and soloist, Wayne Nelson. Visitation will be Saturday at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA from 11 AM to 1 PM. Mrs. Tarver Busby was born on May 6, 1924 to the union of John Bates and Bedie Ann Tisdale Bates and passed from this life on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. Since Mrs. Tarver Busby had never driven and stayed home, she enjoyed people coming to visit. She was a private lady who laughed often, loved singing, dancing and yodeling. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Cosby Richard Tarver and Laney Richard Busby and her five siblings: Melvin Bates, Stevie Thomas, Casey Mae Reitzell, Louise Fuqua and Maudie Wiley. Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews she loved as her own and who loved her. Pallbearers will be Aubry Wiley, Michael Wiley, R.D. Johnson, Royce Johnson, James Bates and Joe Carroll Bates
