John Wesley Little

Funeral services for John Little will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 4, 2024, at Riser Funeral Home, in Olla, Louisiana with Janet Bratton officiating. Interment will follow at Chickasaw Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday at the Olla chapel of Riser Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 

John Wesley Little was born on December 12, 1981, in Urania, Louisiana, to the union of his parents, Wesley Little and Holly Jacobs Lofton, and he passed from this life October 29, 2024, at his residence. John was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He always worked hard to provide for his family and enjoyed watching his kids play sports or anything they did. John was a simple man, he loved simple things like going to his shop, listening to music, and joking around. He had a big heart and would do anything he could for anyone. 

John was preceded in death by his mother, Holly Lofton; brother, Rowdy Wayne Little; maternal grandparents, Paul and Norma Little; and Maternal grandparents, Diane and Billy Boyette and Vernon and Mary Jacobs. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of twenty-two years, Gail Cox Little; sons: Corbin, Coltin, Cooper, and Cohen Little; father, Wesley "Hoss" Little (Pam): brother, Matthew Little; sister, Chasady Butts (Anthony); step-sister, Frankie Day; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and family that he loved very much.

Pallbearers will include Matthew Little, Devin Seaward, Ben Seaward, Jamey Seaward, Michel Lee, and Jestin Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Bratton, Chris Crochet, and Anthony Butts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made directly to Riser Funeral Home PO BOX 57, Columbia, LA 71418, to help with the unexpected funeral expenses.
