John William Hall

John William Hall was born on April 6, 1952, to the union of the late James Lee Hall and Daisy Mitchell Hall. He passed from this life on November 6, 2024 after an extended illness.Johnny was a veteran of the Army National Guard and served in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He worked as a prison guard at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola until his retirement. Johnny was an avid reader and had a strong interest in current politics.He graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Terry Harveston Hall; his son, John Wesley Hall; his brother, J.L. Hall (Nancy),brothers-in-law: Darrell Harveston (Ellen), and Kevin Harveston (Dana); sisters-in-law: Dolores Spindler (Gary),Sharon Young (Bobby), Denise Baum (Wayne), Dwanna Baker (Bobby), Lanette Reed, Andrea Shindler (Paul), Jan Mancill, and Robin Nelson (Buddy).
