Funeral services for Jimmy M. Richmond,64 of Columbia will be held 2:00 PM Monday November 25, 2013 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Goodman and Rev. Brian Rankin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be on Sunday November 24, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165. Jimmy Morris Richmond was born on January 9, 1949 in Columbia, LA to the union of his parents Jim and Laura Lucille "Josie" Holmes Richmond. He passed from this life on Friday November 22, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather ,son, and brother. He was known as "Papa" by his grandchildren who were the light of his life. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Rhonda Haddox Richmond of Columbia,his daughters: Amanda Richmond Harrelson and husband Ricky of Andalusia, Alabama, Amy Richmond Toney and husband Jason of Columbia; his mother: Mrs. Josie Richmond of Columbia; his brother: James Richmond and wife Barbara of Salpulpa, Oklahoma; his sisters: Janice Richmond of Jena, Sharon Curtis and husband Glen of Grayson, Kay Stennett and husband Walter of Terrell, Texas, and Gloria Jean Parker and husband Cecil of Picayune, MS; and three grandchildren: Hannah Harrelson Rabren and husband Stephen; Jesse Richmond, and Lexi Morgan. Serving as pallbearers will be nephews: Jeffrey Haddox, Steven Hatten, Thomas Benson, Scott Franklin, Craig Franklin, and Matthew Justice. Honorary pallbearers include: W.C.
