Jerry Glen Howard, SR

Jerry Glen Howard, SR age 80 of Caldwell Parish, Louisiana  was born on November 24, 1942 in Franklin Parish, Louisiana to the union of his parents, the late David Fulton Howard and Dorothy Merrit Howard. He passed from this life on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at the Jena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Howard was a lover of the simple things in life. He loved to fish with his Uncle Cecil Howard and was a loving husband and father. He loved working on log trucks and heavy equipment.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Laura L. Howard of Jena; his son, Jerry Howard, Jr and wife Carissa of Tampa, Florida and his daughter Laura Renee Howard of Fort Necessity; and one sister, Norma Ray Spillers of Monroe, LA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

To honor his wishes the family chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a  later time.
