Funeral services for Janiece C. Poole, 76, of Hebert, will be held 2 PM Sunday June 5, 2011 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Ed Smith, Brad Tullos, and Billy Lane McClanahan officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Hebert Cemetery. Janiece was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert. She was born May 22, 1935 to the union of Sherman Clark and Jewel Lawson Clark. She was preceded in death by her father: Sherman Clark, husband: Jimmie Poole; brother: Wilson Clark; grandson: Timmy Poole. Survivors include her mother: Jewel Clark; sister: Shermie Clark; son: Jimmie Glynn Poole and his wife Leighnae; daughter: Sheila Hendrix and her husband Dale; son: Clark Poole and his wife Carol; daughter: Alison Housley; grandchildren: Robert Peavy, Sherman Poole and his wife Dawn, Daryl Poole and his fiancé Tonya; Johnathan Housley and his wife Sara; Jessica Hall and her husband Jess; Shane Hendrix and his wife Tessa; Kimberly Thomas, Brandie Poole, Lori Poole McIlwain and her husband Jim Bob, Charlie Kundig, and Chelsea Wheeler; great grandchildren: Britney Poole, Kade George, Alexus Thomas, Cole Hendrix, Cameron Hendrix, Aaliyaa' Thomas, Cohen Hendrix, Braden Poole, Payton Poole, Hannah Poole, Jessie Richmond, Sophia Hall, Alyssa Bruyninckx, Katelyn Bruyninckx, Lauren Townsend, Taylor McIlwain, and Tanner McIlwain; special friends: Dannie Poole and Casey Porsche; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Sherman Poole, Daryl Poole, Robert Peavy, Steven Clark, Kyle Prince, and Billy Lane McClanahan.
