Memorial services for Mr. James Aubery Hatten, age 59 of Columbia, will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Maxwell Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Saturday morning at Riser Funeral Home from 8:30 AM until time of service. Mr. Hatten was born in Pasadena, TX on September 9, 1951 to the union of Alvin Edward Hatten and Dorothy Lee Price Hatten and passed from this life on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin "Bud" Hatten and Dorothy Hatten, brother; Carl Ray Hatten, sister; Linda Kay Hatten Litton, father and mother-in-law: Elijah Larkins Edmondson and Nellie Mae Emmons Edmondson, brothers-in-law: Mark Monholland and Melvin Leon Edmondson, niece; Melinda Kay Litton and nephew; Brunson Lee Alberta. Survivors include his wife; Gail Hatten of Columbia, two sons: Nathan James, wife Sherre Hatten of Wills Point, TX and Brandon Dewayne Hatten, wife Crystil of Plano, TX, two daughters: Tammy Gail Hatten and Miranda "Gir" Hatten both of Columbia, four brothers: Lee Hatten of Destin, FL, Joe Hatten of Columbia, Johnny Hatten of Pasadena, TX and Craig Hatten of Columbia, four sisters: Bonnie Bell Huffman, Janice Hatten, Sandy Brown and Cindy McKee all of Columbia, twelve grandchildren: Nathan, Joshua, Dillon, Jessica, Jacob, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Clayton, Jamie, Ashton, Auberyann and Kirsten and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members.
