James Hall

Funeral services for James David Hall age 94 of Olla will be held 10:00 am Friday November 27, 2015 from the sanctuary of Olla Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jonathan Crist officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery near Olla. Visitation will be on Thursday November 26, 2015 at the church from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. James David Hall was born on June 23, 1921 at Crowville, LA to the union of his parents, J D Hall and Susie Hall. He passed from this life on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. James was a United States Air Force Veteran of World War II and a member of the Olla Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his first wife Elana Hoard Hall. Left to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Faye H. Hall of Olla; his daughters: Glenda Ogg Shaw and husband Gene of Eros, LA and Vicky Jackson and husband John of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren: Lisa and Gene Shaw, Jr; and one great grandson: Logan Shaw.
