James Darrel Gough

Graveside services for James Darrel Gough, age 58 of Sikes, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Shady Grove Cemetery in Sikes under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9:30 AM until time of service at the cemetery.

Darrel, better known as “Go Getter,” was born on April 15, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the union of his parents, John Gough and Edna Onita Polk Gough, and he passed from this life December 26, 2021. Darrel was a truck driver for many years and was an all-around good guy. He was full of life, always cracking jokes, and he never met a stranger. He was straightforward and you always knew where you stood with him. He loved hunting, fishing, and watching the Saints play football. He loved his family and loved sitting on the porch. His greatest joy was riding his motorcycle. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; his daughter, Mandy Williams (Jason); son, Craig Jacobs; his brother, Lloyd Gough; and grandchildren: Brina, Baylee, Jaylin, Jaycen, Andrew, Colin, and Clara.

Pallbearers will be Craig Jacobs, Kevin Clark, Jason Williams, Scott Jordan, Baylee Vines, and Randy Perot. Honorary pallbearer will be Lloyd Gough.
