James Ronnie Biggs

James “Ronnie” Biggs passed peacefully on October 24, 2024, entering into the loving arms of Jesus. Born on January 2, 1945, Ronnie was a devoted family man, a community pillar, and a friend to all who knew him.

For over four decades, Ronnie owned and operated a successful local business, earning the respect and loyalty of customers and colleagues alike. His dedication to his community extended beyond his business; he also served in numerous capacities with local law enforcement agencies, always striving to make a positive impact. Ronnie had a deep love for animals, and his gentle spirit endeared him to everyone he met. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering friendship leave a lasting legacy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clyde Biggs and Naomi McKeithen Biggs, and his son, Ronald Kevin Biggs. He is survived by his former wife, Gracie Biggs of Pineville, Louisiana, and their son, Stephen Scott Biggs; his wife, Deanna Biggs, of Forney, Texas; and beloved sister, Joan Sykes, and her husband, Leon Sykes, of Ball, Louisiana. He also leaves behind two grandsons, Jonathan Biggs and Avery Biggs, of Urania, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Olivia Biggs, of Forney, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and many close family friends including Marvin and Jennifer Daniel of Olla, Louisiana.

Ronnie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
