Jackie Lucille Tucker

Jackie Lucille Martin Tucker age 82 of Grayson was born on November 4, 1938 at Kelly, LA to the union of her parents, Howard and Maggie Martin and she passed from this life on June 21, 2021 at Savannah Grand of West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Martin and Larry Martin; sister-in-law, Ellen Martin; and her nephew, Brian Martin. Her life's calling was that of a teacher and she enjoyed her career immensely. She was an avid reader and loved traveling the world. She loved cross-stitching and needle point. She was also an animal lover throughout her life. Jackie was an active member of Grayson Baptist Church until her health kept her from attending.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-one years, Robert Tucker Jr; her son, Rob Tucker(Ora); her daughter, Liz Cohen (Bruce); her brother, Bobby Martin; and sister; Kathy Darnell. Her grandchildren include: Michael, Maggie, Gannon, Aiden, and Emerson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Pastor John Egbert officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 8:30 AM to time of service at 10:00 AM.
