Growing up in Olla, Louisiana, Jack was known for his ability to play any song he heard on the piano. He was really good and although bashful about his talent, would often gather crowds. Jack inherited this musical gift from his father, Andy Crick. Andy was an excellent fiddle player and musician.
Jack was a wonderfully talented artist, as well. He was kind enough to share many of his works of art with family and friends.
Following college, Jack worked in the Monroe, Louisiana area doing custom interior design work. Later, he used this natural talent for playing the piano to sell pianos in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas area. He then moved to the Shreveport, Louisiana area to continue his interior design business until he retired.
Jack was a very caring person and you never wondered where he stood on any issue.
May his soul rest in peace.
