IV Frederick

Funeral services for Charles Xavier Frederick, IV; better known to every one as Rick, age 44, will be held 10am Friday July 1, 2011 from the sanctuary of St. John's Roman Catholic Church with Father Dwight De Jesus delivering the Mass of Christian Burial. The Rite of Committal will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening June 30 from 5 to 8pm with a Vigil Wake Service to be held at 7pm in the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia. Born Charles Xavier Frederick, IV in Yokusuka, Japan on March 8, 1967, Rick passed from this life on Tuesday June 28 at the Willis Knighten Pierremont Health Center in Shreveport. Rick was a graduate of Caldwell Parish High School, and a student at Louisiana Tech University. Rick leaves his beloved family: His parents, Janice and Charles Frederick of Columbia; his brother, Chris Frederick and wife Melissa of Columbia; his sisters, Dawn Maxwell and husband Clay, of Olla; and Denise Frederick of Monroe. He also is survived by six nieces and nephews, Joshua Frederick, Jessica Frederick, Tristen Frederick, Hunter Murphy, Jaycee Maxwell, and Abby Maxwell. Pallbearers include: Chris Frederick, Joshua Frederick, Clay Maxwell, Chuck Esters, Wayne Walker, Chase Moroni, Kevin Murphy, and Ken Moroni.
