On this day we lay our sweet baby, Isabella Amara Grant, to rest. She was born on August 1, 2021, and passed from this life on August 6, 2022. She was baptized and devoted to God on August 5, 2022. Bella loved her bath time, her mirror, her num nums, and blowing bubbles with the family. We stand on God's promise that we will see our sweet little girl again. She is playing with our ancestors and walking the Streets of Gold.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cindy Dickey; great-grandmother, Patrica Seay; great-great-grandmother, Murlene Clark; and her great-great-grandfather, Wilson Clark.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Amanda Nicole Dickey; her father, Kenneth Ray Grant Jr.; her grandmother, Connie Wilhite Grant; grandfather, Kenneth Ray Grant Sr.; great-grandmother, Peggy Lee Simpkins Blakeney; great-grandfather, Armond Wilhite; great-grandfather, Earl Dickey and wife, Hilda Dickey; and great-grandmother, Kay Clark. Numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers are Steve May and Victoria Brackett. Honorary pallbearer will be Isreal Lee Boyett.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 11, 2022, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hebert Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
