Services for Hobo "Billy Ray" Harrison, age 65 of Grayson will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2008 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jeff Masters and Rev. Jim Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in the Holum Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Harrison was born in Columbia on December 30. 1942 to the union of Jerome and Myrtle Stovall Harrison and died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Hobo was a farmer and a member of the Holum Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: J.B.Harrison and his son-in-law: Mark Silvie. Survivors include his wife: Patricia Cox Harrison, his sons: Festus Harrison and his wife: Jennifer and Mark Ray Harrison, his daughters: Millicent Holley and her husband: Marcus , and Angela Silvie all of Grayson, his brothers: Bob Harrison and his wife: Bobbie of Grayson and Jerry Harrison of Atlanta, GA, his sister: Betty Milton and her husband: Ben of West Monroe, his grandchildren: Claeb Silvie, Bethany Silvie, Livia Silvia, Brittany Harrison, Josh Harrison, Jeremiah Holley and Aaron Holley. Pallbearers are Donald Masters, Keith Hilstead, Clay Bennett, Denny Harrison, Berl Braddock, Danny Gilmore, Billy R. Warner and Ray Braddock. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Malcomb, Joe Bill Pine, Michael Duncan, Wilbur Hilstead, LaRay Nugent, James "Red" May, Billy Bennett, Richard Grant, Clois Randall, Donnie Nation and Glenn Grant.
