Herman Lee Jordan Jr

Funeral services for Herman Jordan, Jr. will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, February 19, 2023, from the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia with Rev. Joseph Williams officiating and Sister Betty Wooten assisting. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia. The Jordan Family will receive visitors prior to the service on Sunday from 9 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.

Herman (Bubba) Jordan Jr. was born on May 17, 1950, and left this world on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at The Haven Nursing Center in Columbia, Louisiana at the age of 72. He was born in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Herman Sr. and Ann Williams Jordan. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his youngest sister, Ora Jordan Barnes.

Survivors include his sons, Ricky Yearby and Devin Stamper; his grandchildren, Ricardo Torez Yearby Jr. and Ricaria Yearby; his sisters: Nita Jordan, Betty Jordan (Little Sister), and Bobbie Jordan Butler (J.C.); nephews, Ernest Morgan Jr. (Pee Wee) and Edwin Morgan (April); nieces, Antrenita Johnson (Screamie) and Katie Jordan (Piggy); four great-nephews and five great-nieces. His special friends who stuck with him until the end of his life were Clifton Griffin, Glenn Ray Varner, Micheal Moore, and host of other family members and friends.

Serving as palllbearers will be Pee Wee Morgan, Edwin Morgan, Michael Moore, Wiley Canada, John Lewis, George Chisley, Eddie Morgan, Sedric Meredith, and Brian McDowell.
