Funeral Services for Mr. Henry Dannehl age 95 of Hebert will be held 3pm Monday July 25, 2011 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Smith and Rev Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Landernieu Family Cemetery North of Hebert under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation for Monday will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at the church. Henry Dannehl was born on December 19, 1915 at Brookhaven, Mississippi to the union of his parents Richard Dannehl and Minnie Souleret Dannehl. He passed from this life on Saturday July 23,2011 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marjory, his parents, and by his brothers Richard, Edward, and Ralph ; and also by his sister Lillie Netherland. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, and was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. Survivors include: His son: Henry Dannehl and wife Jan of Monroe. Two daughters: Marilyn Patton and husband Troy; and Ruth Goins and husband Forrest, all of Hebert. Five grandchildren: Josh Dannehl and wife Rebecca, Stephanie Dannehl, Brittany Dannehl, Shane McClanahan and wife Tiffany, and Dustin McClanahan, eight great grandchildren, and three great great grand children. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Deacons of Bethany Baptist Church. The Dannehl family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Doctor's Floyd Jones, Dr. Boyce, and Dr. Gonzales, along with all nurses in the ICU at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
