Funeral services for Gertie Marie Hall, age 65, of Columbia will be held 10:00am Thursday February 19, 2015 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Boudreaux officiating. Interment will follow in the Burroughs Garden of Memories, east of Columbia with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. Gertie Marie Lyons Hall was born on September 26, 1949 at Lockport, Louisiana to the union of her parents Lyies Joseph Lyons Sr. and Vivian Marie Domengue, and she passed from this life on Monday February 16, 2015 at her residence following an extended battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers: Noland Dupre and Wilson Lyons, and by a sister: Betty Lyons. Left to cherish her memory: her husband Glenn Patrick Hall of Columbia, two sons: Glenn Patrick Hall, Jr and James "Bubba" Hall both of Columbia; seven brothers: Lee Lyons of Lockport, Lyies Lyons, Jr. of Houma, Harold Lyons of Lockport, Hubert Lyons of South Carolina, Allen Boudreaux, Patrick Boudreaux, and Glenn Boudreaux all of Lockport; one sister: Pearl Ann Bratton of Grayson; four grandchildren: Macey, Hannah, Savannah, and Patrick.
