Fred Antoinne Richardel

Fred Antoine Richardel, 93 of LaRose, Louisiana, was born on November 14, 1927, at LaRose to the union of his parents, Pierre Antoine Richardel and Argentine Robichaux Richardel and he passed from this life on October 12, 2021, at the Hardtner Medical Center, Olla, Louisiana.

Mr. Richardel was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in LaRose. He had been a lifelong resident of LaRose until Hurricane Ida displaced he and his wife from their home. He loved the great outdoors and was known to sit patiently outside enjoying God's handiwork. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Dusty Richarde;l and two brothers, Roland Richardel (Margie) and Clarence Richardel (Ruth.)

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, Doris Rome Richardel of LaRose; two sons: Lee Richardel (Mavis) of Tullos and Kelly Richardel of LaRose; his beloved grandchildren: Laura Richardel Thomson (Chris), Peter Richardel (Patricia), Paul Richardel (Heather) and Kayla Richardel Steele (Brad); and nine great-grandchildren: Allison Thomson, William Thomson, Emma Richardel, Ian Richardel, Hayden Richardel, Andrew Richardel, Caleb Richardel, Blaise Steele and Cole Steele.

The Richardel family will host a visitation on Monday October 18, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, Louisiana. beginning at 1:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 PM with Father Joey Lirette officiating. Entombment will be immediately following in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery at LaRose, LA.

In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 12911 East Main Street, P. O. Box 10, LaRose, LA 70373.

The Richardel Family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and entire staff of Hardtner Medical Center for the wonderful care, love and devotion extended to our loved one during his illness.
