Fred Francis Foster

Graveside funeral services for Fred Francis Foster, age 86, of Urania will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the Urania Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. Family and friends may begin gathering together at 12:45 at the cemetery.

Fred Francis Foster was born on September 27, 1936, at Urania, LA to the union of his parents, the late Travis Monroe Foster and Jewell Neal Foster, and he passed from this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at his residence in Urania. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters: Sybal Foster and Willie May, and  his nephew Jerry Wayne Foster. Mr. Foster served four years in the United States Navy aboard the ship, Bon Homme Richard. He retired from the Rocelle Pole Yard. He loved to hunt, fish, and play the guitar. He loved to camp on Castor Creek and he really loved his dogs.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Billy Wayne Foster and a host of nieces and nephews, including his nephew, Jeff Foster, and his beloved furbaby, "Tee Tee".

The Foster Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his step-daughter, Lisa Morgan, for the love and care she provided in his last days.
