Funeral services for Frances Ellington Williams age 94 of Columbia will be held 1:00 PM Sunday February 28, 2016 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Robert L. Primm, Jr officiating. Interment will follow in the Luna Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday Feb. 28 from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Frances Ellington Williams was born on June 25, 1921 in the Luna Community in Ouachita Parish. She passed from this life on Friday February 26, 2016 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia. Frances was a homemaker and a lady with such a very special spirit about her. She served and revered her Lord and brought a smile to everyone she came in contact with. She will truly be missed. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Ray Williams of West Monroe, Johnny R. Cowden of West Monroe, and Thomas Williams of Greenbriar, Arkansas; four daughters: Bonnie Clark of Columbia, Wanda Fatheree of Grayson, Betty Cowden of West Monroe and Linda Davis of West Monroe. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren are to numerous to count.
