Evelyn Grant Greenwood

Evelyn Marie Grant Greenwood, a native of Kelly, LA went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on May 24, 2024.

Ms. Evelyn was preceded in death by her two husbands: William "Billy" Greenwood and Bob Pardue; four children: Danny "Dinky" Greenwood, William "Randy" Greenwood, Kathryn Naquin, and Samuel Greenwood. Ms. Evelyn was the daughter of Ocie and Lovie Grant with 5 sisters and 6 brothers, who all preceded her in death.

Ms. Evelyn was a self-employed painter, she loved tending to her cows, working on her family land, and loved spending time with her church family and family. 

Ms. Evelyn is survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as, the children of Mr. Pardue. The family would like to thank the staff of Caring Hands Hospice and the Haven for the love and care they provided Ms. Greenwood.

Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Bell, Lloyd Spangler, Dustin Emfinger, Jay Minard, Larry Adams, and Kyler Emfinger. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy James and Thomas Pollard.

Funeral services for will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Kelly Baptist Church will Bro. Joe Aguillard officiating. Interment will follow at Lowe Cemetery, Kelly, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia. The family will have visitation at the church on Sunday from 1 PM until 3 PM, prior to the service.
