Ethel Crain

Funeral services for Ethel Lee Crain (nee Peppers), age 82 of Grayson, will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 3, 2023, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Grayson immediately following the service. The Crain Family will receive visitors beginning at 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ethel Lee Crain was born on August 28, 1941, at Sikes, Louisiana to the union of her parents, the late Edwin Peppers and Izena McNaughton Peppers, and she passed from this life on October 31, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness.

Mrs. Crain loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to read and loved gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her beloved daughter, Carol Crain; her sisters, Rose Robinson, Myrtis Woodard and Lodie Mae Fruge; her brothers: Joseph Peppers, Lloyd Peppers, LaVelle Peppers and Elvis Peppers.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of sixty-five years, Landry Crain of Grayson; her son, Mark Crain (Kim) of Grayson; her daughter, Toni Crain Guerrero of Columbia; her grandchildren: Chad Guerrero, Whitney Keahey, Valerie Calhoun, Dustin Crain, Ashley Nettles and Mike Crain; her great-grandchildren: Lawson Guerrero, Landry Guerrero, William Calhoun, Andrew Calhoun, Nevaeh Crain, Addelyn Crain, Jeremiah Moradi, John David Moradi, Michaela Crain, Case Nettles and River Nettles.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Crain, Heath Calhoun, Mike Crain, Chad Guerrero, Lawson Guerrero and Drew Keahey.
