Emily Causey McCarty

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Causey McCarty, age 62 of Columbia, will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Grayson with Bro. Sherman Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2012 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. McCarty was born on February 3, 1950 in Columbia, LA to the union of Dr. Wren Causey and Edith Carroll Causey and went to her Heavenly home on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia. She was a member of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle and the Riverside Concert Band. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Dean McCarty and her brothers: Wren Causey, Jr. and Joseph David Causey. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons: Adam McCarty and wife, Hannah, Joe McCarty and wife, Nicki and Will McCarty; brother, Robin Causey and wife, KaraLe; two sisters: Sarah Wright and husband, Jack and Elizabeth Douglas and husband, Benny; four grandchildren: Tommy Dean McCarty, Maura McCarty, Hannah McCarty and Marion McCarty and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Causey, Ben Causey, Andy Causey, Kemp Wright, J.D. Douglas and Jonathan Douglas. Memorials made be made in Mrs. Emily McCarty's memory to the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle, PO Box 637, Grayson, LA 71435.
