Elmer Odell Myers

Elmer Odell Myers, Jr. age 71 of Woolen Lake Community, Hebert. LA was born on October 4, 1951 at Winnfield, LA to the union of his parents, the late Elmer Odell Myers, SR and Jewel Modessa Gorham Myers. He passed from this life on Monday April 10, 2023 at the Christus ST Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria.

Elmer was a family man having been a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to so many. He was an avid sportsman loving deer hunting and fishing. He and his sweet wife Stacy lived on Woolen Lake and he loved every minute of the time they shared there. He was a log cutter by trade and was no stranger to hard work. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved son, Micah Shane Myers.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories is his beloved wife Stacy Dale Myers of Hebert,;  two daughters, Candace Mullenix (Jonathan) of Hebert and Mandy Myers (Robert) of Winnfield; two brothers, Jake Myers (Jeannie) of Olla and Jesse Myers of Olla; three sisters, Mildred Nailor (Gary), Faye Williams (Michael) and Kaye Tatum (Billy) all of Olla, LA; and his beloved grandchildren who were a light in his life, Lee and Dominic Robertson and Gus and Amelia Mullenix.

The Myers Family will host visitation on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Riser & Son Funeral Home, Columbia, LA from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Myers Family honored Elmer's wishes and lovingly chose cremation.
