Elizabeth Ann Lafferty

Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Lafferty, age 87 of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 3, 2023, at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia with Bro. Joe Rosales officiating. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Elizabeth Ann Love Lafferty was born January 27, 1936, in Rayville, LA to the union of her parents, Leon Love and Kerney Mae Holder Love, and she passed from this life February 27, 2023, at her home in Columbia. Ann was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed many hobbies and was always busy. She was a talented seamstress and made some beautiful quilts for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed the outdoors as well. She liked to hunt, fish, and work in her garden. She had a green thumb and loved growing beautiful flowers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, Frank Lafferty and Columbus Van Dunlap; her daughter, Sharon Jinks; and numerous brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Shirley Wall (Paul), Ashley Harrell (Jeremy), Sabrina Bingham, Renee Baines, and Whitney Roberts; stepsons: Daniel Lafferty, Andrew Lafferty, and John Lafferty; sisters: Sheila Stroud, Jane Wright, and Glenda Howard; as well as, numerous grandchildren and great-children.

Serving as pallbearers will be Elvis Branch, John Kaderka, Paul Wall, Gavin Littleton, and Dawson Williams.
