Services for Mrs. Dorothy "Cookie" Yvonne Michener Henry, age 66 of Decatur, AL, will be 11 AM Monday, February 16, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Bro. Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be 9 AM Monday morning until time of service. Mrs. Henry was born on February 12, 1943 in Tampa, FL and passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 at her residence in Decatur, AL. She was a former member of Columbia Church of Christ in Columbia, LA and currently a member of Beltline Church of Christ in Decatur, AL. Cookie worked as a medical records clerk in the medical industry. She was a member of The Red Hat Ladies and The Sassy Sisters social clubs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Carl Raymond Henry, her son; Christopher Raymond Henry, mother-in-law; Adelaide Henry Copeland, father-in-law; Oburn Raymond Henry and four brothers. Survivors include her daughter; Carla Jones and husband, Rodney of Decatur, AL, brother; Jimmy Miller of Tampa, FL, sister; Diane Amato of Zephyrhills, FL, sisters-in-law; Bobbie Johnson of Tampa, FL and Cheryl Reed and husband, Morris of Franklin, TN, brother-in-law; Tom Henry and wife, Judy of Anahuac, TX and four grandchildren; Zachary Jones, Kylie Rae Jones, Aaron Jones and Carlie Jones. Pallbearers will be Ronnie McIlwain, Mark McIlwain, Tommy Henry, Morris Reed, Scooter Wise and Jason Spivey. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Henry, Douglas "Buzzy" May and Gerry McIlwain.
