Dorothy Hall

Funeral services for Dorothy Virginia Varner Hall, age 79 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 7, 2015 from the sanctuary of Palestine Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Shields and Bro. Mickey Hudnall officiating. Interment will follow in the Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening at the church from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Hall was born on November 5, 1935 to the union of her parents: Odis C. Varner and Zula Mae Varner Head and passed from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the West Monroe Guest House in West Monroe following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. Herman Hall; her son, Gary Bryan Hall and her great-grandson: Christopher James Hall. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Terry Hall and wife, Teri of Columbia; daughter, Sharon Hall of Eagle River, AK; step-brother, Oscar Head and wife, Dorothy of West Monroe; grandchildren: Kimberly Knight and Christopher Glenn Hall; and great-grandchildren: Allison Parker, Brody Hall and Nicholas Hall. Pallbearers will be Cam Douglas, Mikie Barmore, Eugene Harper, Jimmy Ray Girod, Steve Delancy and Mike Osbon.
