Funeral services for Deborah Sue Walker Lee, age 60, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Riley officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Deborah was born June 7, 1954 to Earl Walker and Martha Smith in Monroe and she passed from this life on January 7, 2015 at her residence in Columbia.
She was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a hard worker. She would do anything for anyone. She loved spending time with all of her grandbabies. They were the light of her life. She always said they were her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Mary Walker and Martha Smith: niece: Betty Jo Boyd; ex father-in-law and mother-in-law: Merced and Eva Cavazos, Jr., whom she was extremely close to, and her dear friend: Helen Laffoon.
Survivors include: one son and wife: Stacy and Amanda Cavazos; two daughters and husbands: Telisa and David Williams, Christina and Joshua Caraway; three brothers and wives: William "Butch" Allen and wife Elsie; Walter "Skip" Allen and wife Rhonda; Jimmie Allen and wife Doris; two sisters: Janie Sanford and Juanita Crain and husband Tommy; Grandchildren: Kimberlee Basco and husband Alex, Katelynn Caraway, Breanna Williams, Wyatt Caraway, Johnathon Caraway, Zoie Cavazos, and Lexi Hill whom she considered a granddaughter; great-grandchild: Kimber Basco.
Pallbearers will be: Brad Forbis, Tommy Allen, Ricky Allen, Mickie Caraway, Danny Caraway, and Brandon "Bam" Bennett.
