Deborah Kay Dulaney

Funeral services for Deborah "Debbie" Kay Dulaney, age 62 of Sikes, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 20, 2022, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA. Interment will follow at the Dulaney Family Cemetery in Sikes,  under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the funeral home, from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.

Debbie was born on April 24, 1959, in Corpus Christi, TX to the union of her parents, John Ecker and Agnes Conley Ecker, and passed from this life on February 15, 2022, at her residence. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Ecker, and her grandmother, Willie Conley. Debbie attended Grayson Baptist Church. She loved the holidays and the time spent with her family and friends. Debbie picked up crocheting as an inside hobby. Before Debbie's health started to decline she loved being outside planting flowers and enjoying the sunshine. She always made sure to have a clean house. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of thirty-nine years, Dixon Dulaney; sons: Jesse Dulaney and Gene Dulaney; her brother, Keith Ecker (Mary); sisters: Lisa Baber (Bubba) and Melinda Jenkins (Allen); and her sweet, beautiful as the day is long, spoiled rotten granddaughter, Christine Dulaney, that she and Dixon raised as their own. She will be greatly missed. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Riser Funeral Home, PO BOX 57, COLUMBIA, LA 71418, to help defray funeral expences.
