Deana Tingle

Funeral services for Deana Tingle will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Deana will be laid to rest next to her parents at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, prior to the service, from noon until 2:00 at the funeral home. Deana was born in Natchez, Mississippi on August 18, 1969 to the union of her parents, Thomas Henry "T.H." Tingle and Agnes Campbell Tingle, and she passed from this life to her heavenly home on January 4, 2021 at Alexandria, Louisiana. Deana was a member of Holum Baptist Church for many years until her health prevented her from attending. For many years she was the church pianist and she also made their church bulletins each week. She loved her church family. She had a servant's heart and spent many hours crocheting hats and scarves to be sent overseas to needy children. She also looked forward to Christmas each year when she would spend hours preparing boxes for the Shoe Box Ministry for needy children. Deana was preceded in death by her parents, T.H. and Agnes Tingle; her maternal grandparents, Pearlie L. and Dolly A. Campbell; and her paternal grandparents, Thomas A. and Vera H. Tingle. Left to cherish her memory are numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Duke, Randy Tingle, Melvin Campbell, Dylan McGuffee, Steven Canterberry, Freddy Mercer, Mark Esters, Arthur Calton, Kurt Volentine, Herschel Volentine, and Gary Cassels.
