David Sears

Memorial services for David Dewayne Sears, age 59 of West Monroe, will be held at 12 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Rankin officiating. David was born on October 10, 1956 in Caldwell Parish to the union of his parents; David E. Sears, Sr. and Myrtle Fitzgerald Sears and passed from this life on Monday, March 7, 2016 in Columbia, LA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Prairieon Hunting Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cheryl Bass Sears and brother, David E. Sears, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shonie Lane Bass of Monroe; three brothers: John Sears of Grayson, Jimmy Sears and wife, Christy of Columbia and James Sears of Grayson; two sisters: Dorothy Lindsey of Grayson and Julia Bass and husband, Larry of Monroe; grandson, Jaydan McGowen; friend who he thought of as a brother, Sammy "Bingo" Boyett; companion and protector his dog, Dixie and numerous nieces and nephews who were all special to him.
