Dave Perot JR

Funeral services for Dave Perot, Jr, age 74 of Columbia, will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow in the Perot Family Cemetery at Columbia. The Perot Family will host visitation at the funeral home on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

Dave Perot, Jr. was born on March 1, 1948, at Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Dave Perot Sr. and Hazel Mae Sikes Perot, and he passed from this life April 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife Linda Sue Caraway Perot and by his sisters and brothers, De Lloyd Perot,Jerr Perot, Helen Lafoon, Shelby Perot, Helen Thompson, Gloria Crawford and Hazel Breland. Dave was a Master Carpenter and was extremely talented with his hands. He was an avid sportsman but most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather  and great-grandfather. He enjoyed helping people and he was known for his skills in the woods in hunting deer. To know JR was not only to love him but appreciate his gift of friendship. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Scottie Perot (Ann Marie) of Tullos, Michael Allen Perot (Kandus) of Kelly and David Kevin Perot of Columbia; two brothers: Clifton Perot of Olla , and Marty Perot of Columbia; two sisters' Shirley Masters of Tallulah and Judy Caraway of Hebert; six grandchildren and five great grand children.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Perot, Dylan Perot, Justin Perot, Will Thomas, Seth Thomas and Mickey Lott. 

Honorary pallbearer will be Joshua Caraway.
