Daniel Grant

Graveside services for Daniel Kyle Grant will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Little Star Cemetery in Grayson, Louisiana. Services will be officiated by Roland Garcia. Daniel was born on March 25, 1940 to the union of Ivy Reginal Grant and Myrtis Alma Davis Grant at Pontiac, Michigan, where his father was employed with General Motors during World War II. He passed from this life on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Kootenai Health and Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho following an extended illness. Mr. Grant worked as a Teamster/truck driver for Cisco Foods for many years. He was preceeded in death by his parents; a son, Cary Robert Grant; and brothers: Norvell Lamar Grant and Ronnie Grant. Survivors include: a son, Kyle Grant of Kingman, AZ; three daughters: Tamara Avila, Kathy Halsne and Erin Grant all of Coeur d'Alene, ID; a brother, Clyde Reginal Grant of Showlow, AZ; a sister, Rebecca Bratton of Urania; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
