Clyde Ramsey

Services for Clyde Ramsey, age 76 of Kelly, will be 10 AM Monday, October 13, 2008 in the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Bro. Ricky Nugent and Rev. Denver McBroom officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Kelly. Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 1 PM to 9 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Mr. Ramsey was born in Jackson Parish to the union of Jessie Franklin and Cora Allen White Ramsey and passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Jeanette Rosselle Ramsey, three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include his wife of four years; Barbara Boyett Ramsey of Kelly, daughter; Joyce George and her husband, Wayne of Jena, three step-daughters; Tammy Duplissey and her husband, Buster of Deville, Lisa Yeaggins and Kay Gamble both of Mexia, TX, step-son; Steven Proffer and his wife, Michelle of Olla, two brothers; Jesse Ramsey of Olla and Clifton Ramsey of Chatham, sister; Bessie Ramsey of Jena, cousin/brother; William White of Crestview, FL, eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and two special friends; Allen Patton and Blake Sims. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
