Clinton Sidney Warner was born in Bastrop, LA, on July 6, 1938, to the union of his parents, Sidney Lunsford Warner and Ouida Pearl Tull Warner, and he passed peacefully from this life at his home in Columbia, LA. on September 21, 2024. He was a member of Hebert Methodist Church.

Clint lived in South Dakota with his parents and siblings where they operated a cattle ranch. This is where he learned to love the business of being a cattleman. They moved to Columbia his freshman year of high school, where he met the love of his life, Marilyn Duke. They were married March 8, 1959. From this union they had two daughters, Lorri and Dena.

They made their home in McGehee, AR, where Clint worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman and conductor for 38 years. They also owned and operated CM Ranch. He enjoyed riding, roping, playdays, and rodeos with his wife and girls. They returned to Columbia after his retirement from the railroad in 1997, where they continued to raise cattle. He loved buying, selling, and hauling livestock. His only hobby was feeding and working cattle. Clint was a fine man with exceptional character. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Claude; and his son-in-law, Billy Ellis.

Those left to cherish his memory are his bride of 65 years, Marilyn; daughters, Lorri McElroy (Dub) of Carbondale, KS, and Dena Bilberry (Rip) of Lake Village, AR; his sister, Eulalea Warner of Toledo Bend, TX; 4 grandchildren: Christopher McElroy and Stephanie Ganger (Alex) of Carbondale, KS, C.J. Dilley of Monroe, LA, and Collin Ellis (Brittany) of West Monroe, LA; 14 great-grandchildren and a herd of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Nugent, George Mullenix, Jimmy Waldrop, Eddie Robain, Brian Robinson, Mac Shelton, Glen Grant, Jim McCann, and all his cattle friends at the Delhi Sale Barn and Duke's Hardware and Feed Store.
