Funeral services for Clifton Eugene Fisher, age 77 of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2013 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Riley officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Clifton was born May 9,1936 to Homer and Bessie Adams Fisher in Columbia and he passed from this life on July 3, 2013 at his residence in Clarks. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 2 years. He was a welding supervisor in the oilfield industry and he was an avid cattleman. He was preceded in death his son: Carl Kenneth Fisher; his parents; brother: John Fisher; sister: Betty Fisher Brown. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Patsy Allen Fisher; three sons: Michael Fisher of California; Danny Fisher and his wife Linda of Pointe Celeste, LA; Bryan Fisher and his wife Vanessa of Belle Chase, LA; two sisters: Mildred Hall and Margie Fisher; seven grandchildren: Lauren Lane and her husband Nathan; Nicholas Fisher, Susan Fisher, Todd Fisher, Keith Fisher and his wife Misty, Scott Fisher, and Blaine Fisher and his wife Jenna.
