Carole King Snody

Graveside Services for Carole King Wilson Snody will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 9, 2022, at Chickasaw Cemtery, Olla, Louisiana. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home in Olla, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Carole King Snody, age 82, was born in Macon Missouri, to the union of her parents, Henry C. Wilson and Mabelle Loraine Arbogast King, and she passed from this life peacefully at her home on May 6, 2022. Carole loved going to church, going on trips and cruises. She liked gardening with Murl before thier health started declining. She loved her family and enjoyed finding anything she could  to fuss at them about. Nothing compared to her puppy, "Piper." She will be greatly missed. 

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, her husband for over twenty years, Murl Snody, three sisters, and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Burl Ruddell (Ofelia) and Keith Maloney (Linda); her daughters; Vickie Nugent (Roy) and Wanda Abshire (Roland); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind family that wasn't related by blood, but by hearts and love: a sister, Sharron Arbogast and three daughters: Betty Roden, Anne Armstrong, and Tiffany Taylor.

Pallbearers will be John Daniel Snoddy, Jed Snoddy, Frankie Hayes, Jimmy Arbogast, Alfonso Malagon, and Fabian Malagon. Honorary pallbearer is Phillip Hackett.
