Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Ann Burris Jennings age 68 of Urania, LA will be held 2pm Tuesday May 31, 2011 graveside at the Woodland Cemetery at Kentwood, LA. There will be a time of family visitation and fellowship at the cemetery from 1pm until time of service. All services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia,LA. Born Carol Ann Burris on November 15, 1942 at New Orleans, LA she passed from this life on Friday May 27, 2011 at the Autumn Leaves Nursing Center in Winnfield, LA following a relatively brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents William James Burris and Beulah Eugenia Williams Burris. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Survivors include: Two daughters: Sandi Cade and husband Ed, of Oxford, MS; and Rachel Dentz of Somerset, Texas. Her son: Kidd Sanders of Atlanta, Georgia. Two brothers: Bill Burris and wife Beth of Haughton, LA ; and Tim Burris of Grayson, LA. Her beloved grandchildren: Alyssa Nicholson and husband Nick, James Cade, and Jeremy Ring; all of Oxford, MS. One great-grandson: Dylan Nicholson of Oxford, MS. Serving as pallbearers will be James Cade, Ed Cade, Tim Burris, Bill Burris, Robert Sanders, Rufus Williams, Malone Williams, Ben Harrell, and Bruce Harrell.
