Caleb Tucker

Funeral services for Caleb Allen Tucker, age 26 of Rosefiled, will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from the sanctuary of Rosefield Baptist Church with Bro. Bubba Tucker and Bro. Pete McCarty officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 9 PM. Caleb was born Columbia, LA on January 1, 1984 to the union of Harrell "Bubba" Tucker, Jr. and Laura Presnall Tucker and passed on to his Heavenly home on Monday, September 13, 2010. He was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church, an Eagle Scout, a Board Certified Optician, Commissions Corrections Officer, Commissioned Deputy Sheriff and was a competitive rifle shooter. He was an avid hunter. Caleb was a good Christian and person. He was a friend to all who meet him. And if he called you friend then you could call yourself, Blessed. He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Leonard Allen, grandmother; Emma Tucker and aunt; Melissa Allen. Survivors include his parents; Bubba and Laura Tucker of Rosefield, brother; Zeb Tucker and wife, Holly of Columbia, grandmother; Estelle Stapleton Allen, grandfather; Raymond Tucker, three aunts: Monica Gentry and husband, Gary of Columbia, Lea Ann Allen of Bossier and Lisa Jacks and husband, Jeff of Columbia, two uncles: Gary Tucker and wife, Sandy of Columbia and Kevin Tucker of Dallas, TX, numerous cousins and his Rosefield Baptist Church family. Pallbearers will be Zeb Tucker, Robert Minard, Brandon Tingle, Ty Tullos, Tommy Whitten, Kade Benson and Cody Cain.
