Bonnie Sue Franklin was born November 8, 1952 in Winnfield, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Tommy Fay Franklin and Etoil Butler Franklin, and she passed from this life May 18, 2020 in Pineville, Louisiana after an extended illness. Bonnie retired as a paralegal but was known as a jack-of-all-trades. She was skilled in many areas including operating heavy equipment. Bonnie was a free spirit and she lived life to the fullest. She loved reading and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved them deeply. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Pat Frankin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Larry McGee (Elsa), Tommy McGee (Della) and Michael McGee (Jennifer); her daughter, Jennifer James (David); brother, Tommy Michael Franklin; sisters: Tanja Taylor and Sonja Brown; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Bonnie will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Columbia, Louisiana.
