Bonnie P Bridwell

Funeral services for Bonnie P. Bridwell will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, La with  Bro. CR Martin officiating and Bro. Stephen Laughlin reading the eulogy. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM. Bonnie was born in Columbia, LA on September 25, 1950 to the union of her parents Oscar Palmer and Geneva Leggett Palmer and passed from this life on July 13, 2022, at Hardtner Medical Center. Bonnie had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains, cooking, planting and growing flowers, playing games on her phone,  watching the Golden Girls and Andy Griffith. Bonnie loved her family and her precious dog "Buddy". She will be truly missed. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Marvin Palmer and Elmer Palmer, and her sister Rose Cockerham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Bridwell, son, Cody Bridwell (Annie), daughters; Linda Franks (Roy), Bonnie Beckley, and her niece who was more like another daughter, Bonnie Bates (Troy), her brother Wren Palmer (Judy), sister-in-laws, Linda Frazier, and Letitia, grandchildren; Fontana, Allison, Elissa, Chelsey, Cassie, Trey, Jessica, Erica, Heather, C.J., Kody, and Kameron, great-grandchildren; Samir, Liam, Neena, Mason, Ava, Brennan, and Waylon.

Serving as pallbearers are Trey Franks, Kody Bates, Kameron Bates, Dusty Munholland, Dylan Boles, and Chris Palmer. Honorary pallbearers include Kerry McCoy, Daryl Knighten, Buck Stewart, and Cody Bridwell.
