Bobbye Guy

Services for Mrs. Bobbye Sue Guy, age 69 of Grayson, will be 3 PM Sunday, August 31, 2008, at Old Bethel Baptist Church west of Clarks with Rev. Keith Thomas and Rev. Barry Hoekstra officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Guy was born in Columbia, LA on November 13, 1938, to the union of Cecil "Buck" and Mary Margaret Culp Fuller and passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008, at her residence. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and of the local Red Hat Society. She was an administrator with the Columbia Developmental Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion Guy. Survivors include her daughter; Lisa Hoekstra and her husband, Barry of Alexandria, her son; Michael Guy of Monroe, sister; Debbie Warner and her husband, Glen of Columbia, her granddaughter; Samantha Hoekstra and her fiancé, Bryan Hoffpauir, two special nieces; Stephanie Gullette and her husband, Paul and Amy Hanson and her husband, Ben. Pallbearers will be his nephews. A special thanks for the love and care to Dr. Scott Barron, Glenda May, Valda Parker, and her host of best girlfriends.
