Bobby Ray Cockerham

Bobby Ray Cockerham was born in Rosefield, Louisiana, January 12, 1939 to the union of his parents, John Ray and Theo Minerva Cockerham and he passed away at his home in Jonesboro, Louisiana on April 18, 2020. His happiest times were spent with his family. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Keith Cockerham and sister Betty Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Brenda Sneed Cockerham; children: Tim Cockerham (Julie) of Jonesboro, Millie Green (fiance' James) of Harrisonburg, Dena Cockerham (Chanda) of Monroe and Amy Allen (Chuck) of Yonges Island, SC; his grandchildren: Sara Atwell (Brent), TC Cockerham (Ashley), Katie Perot (Randy), Jessica Smith (John) and Charlie Allen (Crissy); great-grandchildren: Hunter Humphries, Emma Humphries, Eli Atwell, Casen Cockerham, Camden Cockerham, Shelby Perot, Brendan Perot, Gracee Perot, Zoye Smith, Gabi Smith, Amber Allen, Charlie Allen and Nathan Allen; his brothers: Kenneth Cockerham and Benny Cockerham; and his sisters: Reba Sneed and Rajean Rainey.

There will be a graveside service at Springhill Cemetery in Jonesboro at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's or the Salvation Army.
