Funeral services for Bobbie Rae Kirby, age 72, of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Little Star Baptist Church in Kelly with Bro. Benny Braddock and Bro. Boyd Tannehill officiating. Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church. Bobbie was born October 1, 1941 to Coy and Gladys Jackson in Prentiss, MS and she passed from this life on April 28, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Little Star Baptist Church in Kelly where she loved to sing. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Pam Bailey; her parents; brother: Buddy Jackson; sister: Frankie Kirby; sister: Nancy Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Ernie Kirby of Clarks; two sons: Johnny Kirby and his wife Donna of Clarks; Eddie Kirby and his fiance April Ward of Palmer Alaska; two daughters: Kimberly Clark of New Iberia; Tammy Floyd and her husband Keith of Grayson; two sisters: Billie Alford of Martin, MS; Jonita Quaid of Monroe; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
