Billy Wayne Fitzgerald

Billy Wayne Fitzgerald, age 64 of Columbia was born on March 17, 1955 in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Bill Fitzgerald and Merlene Franks Fitzgerald and he departed this life on January 10, 2020 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following a sudden illness. In death Billy Wayne continued to give to those around him by donating to the Louisiana Organ and Procurement Association. Billy Wayne loved life. He loved his family and church family at Outreach Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife, Anne Fitzgerald, by his brother, Kenneth “Pee Wee" Fitzgerald and by his son, Todd Cooley. Surviving Billy Wayne are his daughter, Terri Ann Black (James Aycock) of Columbia; his grandchildren: Cole Black and Tessa Black and his great-grandchildren: Kastyn Black and Jett Black. In honoring his wishes the family lovingly chose cremation. There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Outreach Baptist Church with Pastor C.R.
